GYROTONIC® Apprentice Review

Description: This course is required before final certification. Keep in mind, you must complete at least 60 hours of teaching before your final certification. 20 teaching hours must be completed by Part 1 and at least another 20 by part 2.
Part 1:

GYROKINESIS® Pre-Training
Description: This is the first step in becoming a certified Gyrokinesis teacher. The Pre-Training can be taken as preparation for further teacher training or as an intensive to deepen ones understanding of the work.

Archway Training
Description: Must be a certified Gyrotonic instructor to take this 7 day course. Starts off easy, but you will feel like you are an Olympic gymnast by the end of the course! This is a heart opening, traction, hanging and levitating experience with dynamic gymnastic movements as well as therapeutic. Recent additions such as a rotating propeller and adjustable arms make the Gyrotonic Archway a truly unique piece of exercise equipment.

A recently featured presenter of GYROTONIC® for High Level Athletes at the GYROTONIC® InternationalEducational Conference in Rome, Angela is often referenced by industry publication such as PILATES STYLE AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE MAGAZINES. She is one of a few trainers in the world honored as an AUTHORIZED MASTER TRAINER, authorized to conduct Final Certification Exams for Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Trainers. A former gymnast and dancer, she is the founder of Principles of Intelligent Movement® which integrates current science and state of the art movement systems such as GYROTONIC®, Pilates and Feldenkrais. Her professional studies have included massage therapy, neuro-muscular therapy, myofascial release, acupressure and oriental medicine as well as nutrition and herbology.
